Our search process consists of three phases: Planning, implementation and conclusion.

Planning

Assessment of needs
At a first meeting we carry out a detailed analysis of the client's exact needs and draw up a requirement profile for the position that needs to be filled. An understanding of a company's strategic orientation and culture and a definition of its corporate goals are the most important prerequisites for an optimal search process. Our knowledge of the company's position on the market rounds off this core information and is integrated into the search process.

Drawing up the advertisement

After completing the needs analysis it is our responsibility to produce an attractive and competent advertisement that will attract the defined core target group while avoiding unsuitable candidates. We know the candidates thinking and what they will respond to.

Additionally we know the impact of certain key statements and words and use them in our advertisements in order to achieve precisely the desired effect. The size and design of an advertisement indicate the importance of the advertised position. In consultation with our client, the advertisement is placed in selected print media and on the leading Internet platforms while our database is screened for potential candidates.

Implementation

Interview

Potential candidates are carefully selected. The use of international interview techniques also takes us further down the road to success. At semi-structured interviews to ascertain candidate suitability we verify professional and social qualifications, discuss successes and performance, analyze motivation and personality and then draw up a strengths-weaknesses profile. During the search process we provide the client with regular progress reports.

Presentation

The short list is made up of a maximum of six potential candidates. It is accompanied by a written report with a candidates profile, detailed references and our personal evaluation.
We schedule meetings between our client and the selected candidates. After the interview each candidate is reviewed in detail, evaluated and a ranking list is drawn up.

Completion of search

Contract and Offer negotiations

As part of our service we help you draw up the contract and compensation package taking into account the current market situation and competitiveness while upholding the interests of both the client and candidate. We also help our clients to ensure that the candidate accepts the offer and deal with candidates on resolving difficult cases like counter offers etc.

Monitoring and retention
Once the successful candidate is placed we will be monitoring his activities for the first four months to ensure the newcomer's successful integration into the company so that company and candidate can both achieve their goals.

Step1: Candidate Attraction
Through Advertising Campaigns, sister companies and the vast array of highly skilled specialists we have within our database. Whatever it takes we will ensure that your position gets the exposure and attention it needs to attain the best possible candidates.

Step2: Response Handling
Handled all responses and fine select. This usually draws up a shortlist of candidates who seem to meet your criteria.

Step3: Telephone Based Pre-Screening
Telephone Based screening is carried out on those selected candidates to verify their suitability for the role.

Step4: Assessment's
At Phoenix we carry out a wide range of assessment's prior to interviewing. These assessments either take the form of psychometric testing, numeracy tests or technical tests or a combination of all three dependent on the role. If you have your own forms of assessments our recruitment specialists will be willing to use them under strict examination conditions.

Step5: Competency Based Interviewing
Interviewing of all prospective candidates is done in two stages so as not to waste your time. The first stage comprises one to one interview by the recruitment specialist handling your assignment with the candidate. If the candidate meets the criteria as specified in your requirement in terms of persona and credentials the candidate CV will be sent to yourselves. If you wish to meet with the candidate Phoenix Recruitment will arrange this at a time that is convenient for yourselves.

Step6: Referencing
All Candidates that are called for interview will have ALL references checked prior to the interview and these will be available to you prior to the interview.

Step7: Administration
Phoenix Recruitment will ensure that all administration is carried out to the letter. All liaison between yourselves and the candidate will be carried out so that the completion process is as smooth as possible.
